Can you define that, please?
The other day we headed out for church. The girls were knee-deep in a conversation regarding “zits.” I hate that term – just don’t even like the phonics of it! Well, I don’t use that word and I was a bit surprised to even hear it from my angels. Then I started wondering what they thought a zit was, so I asked. Raven, in that oh-so-grown-up version of her 7 year old voice, tells me with a lift of her chin and all the seriousness she can gather, “A zit is a non-fashionable concept.”
I looked at Robert and he was having as much trouble trying to not burst out laughing as I was having. It was pretty much the last thing we expected to hear. Yep, never a dull moment around here.
